Congratulations on earning your Master's in Social Work! Now, you're ready to take the next step towards becoming a LCSW in Texas. To achieve this, you'll need to complete supervised hours under an LCSW-S. I offer online group and individual supervision to LMSWs throughout Texas, and I'm happy to discuss your goals and objectives.

To meet the requirements set by the Texas Social Work Board, you'll need to complete 3,000 hours of supervised work, with at least 100 hours of individual or group supervision with an LCSW-S. This must be done within a two-year to four-year period, which translates to meeting with your supervisor for at least four hours per month.

My supervision program includes two 2-hour virtual group sessions per month, all for $200/month. If you work at least 30 hours a week, you can complete supervision in just 25 months. Some agencies may also offer reimbursement for supervision costs, so be sure to check with your employer.

As your supervisor, I'll guide you through the application of the DSM-V and NASW Code of Ethics, provide continuing education options, and help you prepare for the LCSW exam. You'll have ongoing access to me for case consultation and ethical dilemma discussions. I'll also review your documentation and provide feedback on case reviews and ethical dilemma presentations.
